Sandra Y. Benton was admitted to practice in the state of Tennessee in 1985. After engaging in the general practice of law, she filed her first bankruptcy case in 1993. She immediately decided to make bankruptcy the primary focus of her practice.
Before attending law school, Sandra Y. Benton taught math to elementary and high school students in the public school system. Additionally, she taught education courses at two colleges. An advocate for life-long learning, Mrs. Benton teaches and advises bankruptcy clients so they can make well-reasoned, financial decisions for themselves and their familes.
